I was looking for something at Youtube the other day and I stumbled onto to this video.

"Kodakan"

Anna bought these books a few weeks back, and just started flipping the pages two days ago. The author, Scott Kelby, had a different style of writing that made me want to read an extra hour after already reading that extra hour... (hmmm, I guess you know what I mean).

He explained digital photography in a way that most people would understand. Let's put it this way, have you ever bought some gadget or furniture that instead of reading the manual first (even though there's this huge red note saying to read the manual first), that you would just jump in and try it out. That's how we did it. He went straight to the point, told you what to do, like, what settings you need for night photo's or maybe that soccer practice for your son.

Added to that, he had this sense of humor, that made these books fun to read. This is a must read for all beginner's, amateurs, planning to go into photography and especially to all those "Wannabees" (this is for another blog entry).

Keep those precious moments in photos. "Kaya tara na at mag-Kodakan tayo".

Technical difficulties

If it wasn't for Anna, we almost lost all our entries in this blog. She was able to salvage and put everything back to basic except for the comments :( She's still working on the layout. So, I'm standing by to see how it would look like next time.
Anyways, Happy's more than 2 months old now. And is getting bigger by the day.

I bought Anna her Kindle as an advance birthday gift. She's been wanting one for sooooo long.
We got our tax returns. But eventually went to all our bills.
And I bought a much needed upgrade for my XSI and Alpha to keep them "pogi".

The things we love.

Anna's trying to figure out what went wrong with our blog. For now, let's indulge our eyes to one of the things that we love so much. Food.

Earlier today, we went to 99 Ranch to grab some fresh seafood. It's a bit of drive all the way to Clairemont but the quality is very good and most of the time they would have a sale on lobsters, unfortunately they don't have right now. But we got a good deal with the crabs.

I ended up cooking sweet garlic chili crab. Which sometimes if I do think about it, is just too much work.
