So, who does Happy look like?

1st month: Trial Period

This is not some of those ads on TV where they sell stuff (most of them are useless, by the way) that you can return for a full refund in 30 days. It’s Happy’s 1st month.

We take turns in taking care of Happy, but we owe most of it to Anna’s mom (aka Mama Ganda). Without her, we’d probably just fall down to the floor due to lack of sleep.

We started the day with a doctors visit, then lunch @ Cheesecake Factory, followed by a quick trip to Target and Wal-Mart, then finally bought a few goodies @ Hans and Harry-- we gotta celebrate with a cake!

It’s just our first month, and it’s not even the tip of the iceberg. Being a parent is hard, but every second of being with Happy makes it worthwhile. It is our trial period, and we’re not about to return her for a complete refund. We’re very satisfied and we’re keeping her.

Changing diapers, cleaning feeding bottles, waking up every two hours and checking on the baby Oopss!!! What I meant was we “have to” wake up, because the baby is up every two hours probably checking us out if we’re ready to change or feed her. Yes, we’re officially parents. I’ve heard these a thousand times from family, friends, and co-workers… even from TV! But you really have no idea ‘til it’s there and hits you right in the face.

But she’s really well behaved and barely complains. You can’t just ignore that innocent face and that irresistible baby smell.
We’re both thankful for all the things that were provided to us and we can’t ask for more. But a girl named Happy made us whole.
